We are providing more stylish and variety of dances, which is more flexible and attractive for this new generation. Volcano  dance  company is  fully confident for taking challenge, and give a wonderful platform for the performers. We are  ready to support  the dancers with an  aspiring   performer, We  are  providing  a wonderful  atmosphere   with  the  full  feel  of  positive  energy  for  young dancers, and  offer a well rounded dance program as well as a professional performance opportunities.Classes are given in a disciplined, encouraging and friendly atmosphere, We are ready to  accept valuable  new  ideas, which ever is applicable.   We educate dancers with artistic choreography, sound technique, music mixing and a solid curriculum. 

  We are proudly announcing some more high lights of volcano  dance  company. We  are  started  to  undertake  private  choreography  assignments  for     schools, colleges and corporates to perform in completions and annual shows  at  the  convenient  venue  and  timings. Volcano dance  Company’s recent accomplishment includes 3 year  consecutive  winners  for  Rengoli (campus reality show for Surya TV),  the  celebrities  reality  show  Thillana  Thillana winners on Surya TV, Super Dancer Junior in Amrutha Channel, and another reality show “Airtel star wars” (Kairali TV)  winners,  NITC Ragam   winners  and many collage level and professional level competitions.

Training Program

   All classes are taught by professional instructors in a nurturing class environment. The instructors are extremely qualified and certified                      from DACA (Dancers And Choreographers Association) and have been teaching for many years.

Volcano Dance Company offering opportunities for young talents to perform on stage and expose their own hidden talents. They perform a mix of hip-hop, Film Dances,Salsa, Contemporary and freestyle.  

Beginners: The Beginners level Workshop is comprised of 24 classes. Volcano dance Company’s caters to beginner dancers who want to experience the joy of dancing in a fun and friendly environment. We focus on fun and quality in the classes. 

Intermediate:
                   24 Classes - A step in advance to musical classification and dance styles, helping the dancer to get access to basics of global dance styles. The diversions in this level include synchronization and expressions to various dance forms like, Hip-HOP, FREE STYLE and INDIAN DANCE FORMS.
 

Advanced :
          24 Classes - A platform to invoke the individual extraordinary talent in the medium of presentation of the dance forms. A highlight over the dancing expressions and adapting various dance forms. The specification of advance level of dancing improves posture and poise suitable for stage shows and competitions.

Professional :
          The professional level focuses on the art of arranging dance movements for performances. The impact is on guiding styles as a tutor and the effectiveness in collaborating with various choreographers, an insight into the performances of various level of stage choreography.

ADVANCED TRAINING PROGRAMME IN CONTEMPORARY DANCE

Contemporary dance:-A blend of ballet and modern dance. It builds a strong centre and combines precision leg work with fluidity of the torso. Contemporary dance encourages self expression, natural movement and personal interpretation. In these times of increasing sophistication, it is no longer enough to learn dance techniques. The new generation audience, look for and appreciate complete performers and performances of an international caliber. This includes light, sound, commentary and presentation apart from technique. With this benchmark in mind, Volcano Dance Company has a programme to create polished, world-class performers and welcomes serious and dedicated dancers who wish to excel in the field of modern dance. The Advanced Training is an intensive programme and will require the trainee to show total dedication, motivation and hard work. As part of this training, the trainee will work with teachers and dancers from all over the world. When the trainee has reached a level of perfection in keeping with our standards, she/he may be invited to apprentice as a performer with the internationally acclaimed Volcano Dance Company. This will also be part of the training. Lodge, Board and Training are chargeable and in return, the trainee is expected to contribute by being involved in all work within the community. This includes work in the office, on campus or teaching or any other work needed for the benefit of Volcano Dance Company. After the Advanced training, the trainee may be invited to join the Volcano Dance Company as a professional dancer. As a member of the Volcano Dance Company, she/he will receive a stipend every month in addition to Lodge, Board and Training and will also receive a fee for every performance that she/ he is a part of. A fee is charged for this programme.

SUMMER WORKSHOP

Volcano Dance Company has a Summer Workshop, which focuses on basic training in Hip hop, Film dances/ Salsa/ Contemporary . The daily work schedule includes a session of Yoga and body conditioning exercises,personality development, jogging, Pranayama (traditional breath control technique) and the theoretical aspects of the dance form.. Besides being a basic training programme in Indian modern dance, our summer workshop is a wonderful experience in community living and working in perfect harmony with nature. A fee is charged for the summer workshop.
